Email on your domain

Updated Sep 18, 2026

Once your site's domain is live, it comes with working email on that domain - no separate setup. Go to Settings › Sites › Email (or Business › Website › Email) to see it.

What you get

  • support@yourdomain.com and hello@yourdomain.com, working automatically. Add more (billing@, jobs@, whatever you need) from the Email panel.
  • Mail sent to any of those addresses lands in your site's business inbox (Settings › Sites, or Business › Website › Reviews & Inbox), tagged with the address it was sent to, and a copy is forwarded to your own address as a backup.
  • Every email your site sends - a reply from your inbox, a contact-form or booking notice, a review request, a newsletter, a client-portal link - comes from your own domain instead of a generic platform address. Newsletters send from hello@; everything else sends from support@.
  • Your site's contact section, footer, and search-engine listing all show your branded address once it's ready.

Where mail lands, and how to reply

Read and reply from the same Settings › Sites inbox you already use, or just reply to the forwarded copy in your own mail app - replies from either place reach the customer directly.

Adding addresses, and changing where copies go

The Email panel lists your current addresses with copy buttons, and an "Add" field for a new one. The "Forward copies to" field controls where the backup copy of inbound mail goes - it defaults to the same address your contact-form leads go to.

Checking status

The panel shows Sending and Receiving as verified once they're ready - this is usually immediate, but can occasionally take a little longer while your domain's records finish setting up. If your domain lives somewhere we can't set records at automatically, the panel shows you exactly what to publish and a button to check again once you have.

What's not included

  • No mailboxes or webmail. This is inbound routing and branded sending, not a full mail account - keep using your own mail app or the inbox in Settings for reading and sending. A dedicated mailbox product is a possible future addition.
  • Gmail "send as" isn't set up automatically. If you want to send from your own Gmail using this address, that's a manual step in Gmail's own settings.
  • DMARC isn't set for you. We recommend adding one for better deliverability once you're comfortable with your domain's DNS; ask support if you'd like help.
