Business - one place for your website, your team and your work
Business is the one window that ties together everything else NextOS gives you for running a small business: the site you host, the departments that keep working on it, your books, your contracts, your automations, and your meetings.
Open the Business app and you'll see a navigation on the left (or a section picker at the top, if your screen is narrow) with these sections.
Overview
Your business at a glance: your site's URL and when it last went live, three numbers that matter (views this week, new leads, open invoices), and a short "Next steps" list built from your account's own state - set up your site, publish it, add departments, choose which AI provider runs them, turn one on, or review proposals waiting on you. Every step is a button that takes you straight there. Below that, your departments (what they're doing, when they last ran, and why in plain words if a run failed), anything waiting on your approval, and today's top insights.
Website
Everything about your site, picked from a dropdown at the top if you have more than one: pages and design, your database tables, a site audit, analytics, personalization rules, content and distribution, your store, bookings and newsletter, reviews and your inbox, your domain and edge settings, and any incidents - each one open and ready to read, not a row of collapsed headers. Pages and design shows what's actually live even before this device has a local copy of your site's files, with a button to fetch them or jump straight into the visual editor. This is the same information Settings has always shown for your sites, gathered into one tabbed view.
Departments
Your autonomous departments dashboard - engineering, marketing, sales and customer service, each with its own schedule and a dial for how much you trust it to act on its own.
Finance
Quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, and your monthly close.
Legal
Contracts built from templates, an AI review pass, and e-signature.
Workflows
Your automations, built as a diagram you can look at, edit, and check the history of.
Marketplace
Browse templates other people have published - a whole site, a department, an agent, or a starting policy - and install the ones you like straight into your own account.
Meetings
Recordings, transcripts, and summaries with decisions and action items pulled out automatically.
Nothing moved
Every one of these still works as its own separate app, too - Business is a shortcut to all of them, not a replacement for any of them. If you already have Company, Finance, Legal, Workflows, or Meetings pinned, keep using them exactly as you do today; each one now has a small "Also in Business" link in its header if you ever want to jump over.
