03Questions
Asked often,
answered plainly.
Is there a free trial on the paid plans?
Plus and Pro both include a 14-day trial. Teams checks out directly at its per-seat rate, and Enterprise is sales-assisted since its terms are custom. Free itself has no time limit: it is the whole OS, client-side, for as long as you want.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly or annually with no long-term contract, and cancelling stops the next charge. Your data stays in your own Google Drive either way, since that is where it always lived.
Can I use my own API key instead of paying for hosted AI?
Yes, on every plan. Bring-your-own-key agents and automations work on Free with no limit while a tab is open; the hosted AI allowance on Pro is only for when you would rather not manage a key.
What actually runs where?
Every app and the filesystem run in your browser, on every plan including Free. Node.js and npm run in a WebContainer, still inside your browser, on Pro and above. The sandbox executor and the cloud Windows desktop are the only pieces of Pro that run on a server.
Who owns my data?
You do. Files live in your own Google Drive and in your browser’s local storage; NextOS keeps no server-side copy of your files. Live sync relays change notifications, never content.
What happens if I go over my included allowance?
Sandbox CPU-hours and proxy bandwidth are metered past what your plan includes. Buy a top-up pack as a one-off payment, with no subscription change and no auto-renewal.
