The Company app: departments, their schedules, and pending approvals for a hosted business

a real, hosted site with a company attached: every department’s schedule, status, and what it did last

How it works,
start to a running business.

Every screenshot below is the actual product, not a mockup.

  1. Tell it about your business

One paragraph: what you sell, who it is for, your tone. Pick a starting template - a local service business, a SaaS product, or an e-commerce store - or skip the template and describe your own.

  2. It builds and hosts the site

A real, published website on its own address, with pages, a blog, and a contact form already wired up. Not a mockup to hand to a developer - the live site, hosted, with an editor you can use yourself: click any word, image, or link and change it right on the page.

  3. Departments keep working

Marketing writes pages and posts. Sales follows up on new contacts. Support answers straightforward questions and hands off anything it should not guess at. Finance sends invoices and chases the overdue ones. Legal keeps contracts current. Engineering keeps the site itself running.

  4. You approve what matters

A new department starts in Propose mode and shows you its work before anything goes out. Everything any department does is logged, in order, so you can see exactly what happened and when - and step in the moment something needs your judgment instead of a rule.

02What actually changes

Not a website project.
A business that runs itself a little more.

A site in minutes

Describe the business once and get a published website back - not a template to fill in yourself over a weekend.

Leads answered at 2am

The on-site concierge and Sales department do not keep business hours; a question or a new contact gets a response whether you are awake or not.

Invoices sent, and chased

Finance turns a won quote into a numbered, tax-calculated invoice, takes payment through your own Square account, and follows up when one goes overdue.

03The departments

Six departments,
each with its own job.

Every department starts Paused, moves to Propose so you can see its work first, and only becomes Autonomous once you trust it.

  • Engineering

Keeps the site itself working - fixes anything broken or stale, and publishes updates.

  • Marketing

Writes new pages and posts, checks the site for basic SEO problems, and can draft an ad campaign for you to review.

  • Sales

Tracks every contact-form submission through a simple pipeline and drafts the follow-up email.

  • Support

Answers straightforward questions from your own site content, and hands off anything about a refund or an upset customer.

  • Finance

Turns quotes into invoices, takes payment, chases overdue ones, and prepares a monthly close.

  • Legal

Drafts from a template library, reviews inbound contracts for risk, and tracks renewals.

07Questions

Asked often,
answered plainly.

What does NextOS do for a business?

Tell it about your business - what you sell, who it is for, your tone - and it builds you a website and hosts it. Attach a team of departments (marketing, sales, support, finance, legal) that keep working on the business after that: writing pages, following up with leads, answering questions, sending invoices, drafting contracts. You approve what matters; the rest just runs.

Do I need to know how to code, or hire someone who does?

No. You describe the business in plain language and pick a starting template; the site publishes from that. If you want to change a word, a photo, or a link afterward, click it on the live page and edit it directly - no code, no waiting on an agent.

Will something go out under my name without me seeing it first?

Every department starts in Propose mode: it does the work and shows you exactly what it would send, publish, or reply, and nothing happens until you approve it. Switch a department to Autonomous only once you trust what it produces - and switch it back to Paused any time.

Who actually answers a customer at 2am?

An AI concierge you turn on for your site answers from your own site content - hours, pricing, what you offer - honestly, and hands off to you (or leaves a message) the moment it is not confident or the question needs a person. It never guesses at something your site does not actually say.

Is my data private, and who gets paid?

Your files live in your own Google Drive; NextOS keeps no server-side copy of them. Payments run through your own connected Square account - money goes to you directly, never through us first.

What does it cost?

One monthly fee gets you a hosted site and the departments running on it. See the full breakdown, including what is free, on the pricing page.
