See a real company running

If you want to see what "a company run by autonomous departments" actually looks like before you set one up yourself, there's a live example you can look at: a small neighborhood bakery, running on NextOS, with real (if illustrative) numbers behind it.

What it shows

The example company has a hosted website, a small product list, a booking form, and about a month of traffic. Its departments have been doing real work:

• Engineering keeps the site current and passes its own quality checks.
• Marketing tried a couple of changes to the homepage and booking link - you can see which ones were kept because they measurably helped, and which one was reverted because it didn't.
• Sales is tracking real leads through a pipeline, from a first inquiry to a completed order.
• Finance has issued a few invoices - one paid, one still open, one overdue - so you can see what that looks like day to day.
• A signed agreement with a vendor shows what the legal side of the business looks like once contracts are involved.
